One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to pay it forward. I’ve done some little things, like giving away coupons, giving food to kids who forget their lunch, and sending notes to friends who need a smile.
But I am up for a challenge.
April is the month where I will commit a random act of kindness for 30 days.
Thanks to Mom Saves Money, I am inspired to be nice.
After all, Nicole (aka Mom Saves Money), has been my coupon fairy, my coach for all things savings, and a great friend.
When my fellow blogger told me about this challenge, I couldn’t say no. It’s time for me to put a little sugar in my daily rituals and be, well, sweet.
You don’t have to take out a second mortgage to participate, but you can do some little things.
Buy coffee for a stranger.
Do a chore someone in your family hates.
Leave a note or gift for the postman/woman.
Share one of your favorite bloggers posts. (hint, hint) 😉
Donate supplies to a school or classroom.
Visit an elderly person who needs a friend or just someone to talk to.
Donate some clothes, books, needed items to a shelter.
Call a friend or relative you haven’t talked to in awhile, and let them know how much they mean to you.
