Congratulations to the first winner of Fan Friday, Becca from Southern Mess Moms.
Becca was chosen for her consistent comments and support to the blog this week. She helped with the migration of Liv, Laugh, Love to WordPress, and designed our new logo!
I met Becca in a Blogger group last week, and we are becoming fast friends.
I asked Becca a few questions about herself, her family, and her blog. Here’s what she had to say.
1. What is your favorite thing about being a mom?
Hmm, let’s see…the lack of sleep and the wonderful new body I have? No seriously, I would say the motivation my girls give me to get myself fit and healthy. Knowing that they look up to me makes me want to be better. I don’t want them to grow up not liking their body or how they look. I want them to be healthy and happy and know that everyone is unique and perfect in their own ways!
2. If you had an entire day to yourself with zero responsibility, what would you do?
Play video games and read books! Oh my gosh I miss being a non-stop gamer lol Oops…most of my readers don’t know that I’m a total gamer geek! Guess they do now! I love all sorts of games, however, computer games are my favorites!
3. Describe your blog in three words.
Nutty (because a lot of what I do makes people question my sanity), funny (because even I laugh when I read half of this stuff), and off-the-wall (because a lot of my posts make absolutely no sense and are just randomly pulled out of somewhere not known to man)! (Okay..so I cheated! the things in () don’t count as the words! hahaha) 😛
4. What is the last book that you read?
Samson’s Lovely Mortal by Tina Folsom
5. What song best describes your life?
Okay so my first thought was “Crazy B**ch” By Buck Cherry…then I thought wait…that’s so not okay! lol So I found a more family friendly song that fits me just as well 🙂
She Ain’t Right by Lee Brice
To quote my favorite part,
“She got her daddy’s tongue and temper,
Sometimes her mouth could use a filter
God shook his head the day he built her,
Oh, but I bet he smiled”
6. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Pulling my hair out because my 10 year old girl wants to “date” lol! She will probably want to shave her legs by then too…but oh heck no! She will have hairy monkey legs so no boy wants her until she is in her mid 20s! My hubby has decided that he is putting ADT up in both of the girls bedroom doors and windows! Ha, ha! We are such great parents, huh?
I hope that I have a successful blog by that point and am able to make a little bit of money from it 🙂
